The SiteManager* is the person within your Chapter* who interacts with RidgeStar* to make sure that the Site* meets the Chapter's objectives.

Normally, the SiteManager is also the primary Administrator* and is usually the person most actively involved with the Site. To facilitate communications, RidgeStar also appoints an Account Representative to act as our "Point of Contact" for the Chapter.

All efforts by RidgeStar are coordinated by the Account Representative, who is responsible to the Chapter's SiteManager to keep communications flowing smoothly. Similarly, the SiteManager is responsible for coordinating all the efforts on the Chapter's side, and is responsible to the RidgeStar Account Representative to keep communications flowing smoothly.

In order to eliminate communication problems, there is ONLY ONE point of contact for each RidgeStar Site and your Chapter.

SiteManager Responsibilities

As previously stated, the SiteManager ensures that your Chapter's objectives are met. He or she does the following:

  1. Ensures that all Chapter policies are properly reflected, enforced, published, and activated on the Site
  2. Identifies any observed operational problems on the Site to the Ridgestar Account Representative for Problem Resolution (see the RidgeStar site at Reference: Announcements for more information)
  3. Manages all Chapter personnel with respect to the Site. This includes setting authority for access to the Site and ensuring that these authorized individuals do not exceed their authority directly or indirectly
  4. Works with RidgeStar to define any new functions or features on the Site. This works especially well if the Site Manager has some "data" oriented background, is precise in describing desired results, and is well-organized.
